The Court Jeweller

I'm so excited to introduce my newest royal jewel project to all of you! The Court Jeweller will cover jewels from throughout history up to the present day, with a focus on jewels worn by royals and nobles. We'll look at historical photos, read about jewel news from the past, and recap glittering events from today. I can't wait to see you all there, and I hope you enjoy it!

The archives here at A Tiara a Day are now private, as I'm exploring options for reworking the content into other formats. But never fear -- new, updated versions of the tiara posts will be appearing in the "Saturday Sparkler" series, posted every weekend at The Court Jeweller!

I can't thank all of you enough for your support of this blog during 2013. I never dreamed that it would be as successful as it has become, and I owe much of that success to your interest and participation. Thank you all so much for your messages and comments -- I am so touched that you've made our discussions of tiaras a part of your daily lives. Here's to a great, glittering new year!

  5. This is probably a stupid question, but it is not clear to me. Does this mean you are closing this blog and starting another one? Do I have to type in something else next year?

  10. Congratulations on a banner year, Ella, and best of luck with your much anticipated new project. I'll be sad, like all of us, to see our tiarajahr end, but you've created an invaluable resource. On my own cyberhome, I have a section headed "Bloghalla," and while it's with regret that I'll move A Tiara a Day to it, I'll be blogrolling The Court Jeweller immediate!

  20. Ella thanks for this year's blog. A Tiara A Day was on some days the best reason to get out of bed. I look forward to the new one, knowing it will be a quality production and knowing I will enjoy it. Once again, thanks for tiaras in 2013 and I look forward to jewels in 2014. Along with the fun, there has been some education done in the very best of ways.
